Monsanto has patented life for many seeds which are the core staple of our diet.  Corn, Wheat, Soybeans, Canola and more have been modified to make them roundup tolerant.

 

Roundup is used in high amounts yearly on these crops and becomes part of the food that we ingest on a regular basis.
